In essence, SNIPER RECORDS recording artist Bobby Pulido is one of the leading artists in Latin Music. Since the release of his first album “Desvelado”, his voice, his style, and his music have made waves in the Grupero and Regional-Mexican genres of the U.S. and Mexico. Considered by People en Español Magazine as one of the “Most Guapo” (Good Looking) Latin artists, Bobby quickly took the music industry by storm with his selling and drawing power. The ability to cross over musical boundaries as well as bridging the gap between two distinct cultures is one of the most impressive things Bobby has accomplished. All this is attributed to the fact that he can impact both Spanish and English speaking Latinos with his ability to speak both languages fluently. These attributes, along with his talent, charisma, and striking image is why Bobby is considered by many as the “Total Package”.
His performances and appearances are the some of most anticipated ever by any Latin Artist. In one of his most recognized performances, Bobby Pulido made history. The event was at the recording of his “En Vivo, Desde Monterey” album. The event took place at the Auditorio Coca-Cola Amphitheatre in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Bobby was the first ever Grupero/Regional Mexican Artist to ever perform at the venue and sell it out as well. The success of this show made headlines all over the Republic of Mexico and in the U.S. Latin community as well and instantly making Bobby one of the most sought-after international stars. He has taken his tour all over the U.S. and just about every state in the Republic of Mexico. He has also performed in the Central American country of Costa Rica. The platinum-selling Artist is always one of the most requested invitees to perform at the annual “Acafest” in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Another of Bobby’s most noted performances was when he performed for EXA Communications, one Mexico’s biggest radio Pop Station chains, in Mexico City. There, he shared the stage with some of Mexico’s biggest pop stars like Paulina Rubio, Alejandra Guzman and Alejandro Fernandez.
Bobby’s illustrious career has been recognized by some of most prestigious entertainment organizations in the U.S. and Mexico. The American Grammys, Latin Grammys, Premio Lo Nuestro, and Mexico’s Furia Musical are some of the more notable ones that have recognized Bobby’s international success. But the one achievement that stands out in Bobby’s career is “El Paseo Luminarias Galeria” honor in Mexico City, Mexico. This achievement is the equivalent to the Hollywood Walk-of Fame. This achievement is for being one of Mexico’s biggest celebrities, other recipients of this award in the past include: Juan Gabriel, Julio Iglesias, and Rocio Durcal to name a few. At this achievement the honorees are asked to imprint the hands on a sidewalk pavement; Bobby’s hand imprints are next to Placido Domingo and Maria Felix.
Bobby has made guest appearances on every major international show that covers the Latin music and entertainment industry. Shows such as Cristina, Despierta America, Gordo y La Flaca and Sababdo Gigante are some of the most viewed international shows in Latin America and have welcomed Bobby on more that one occasion. His appearance on the “Cristina Show” in 2003 became one of the highest rated viewed shows in its history. This show is the #1 U.S. produced talk show on Spanish-language television in the U.S., and is seen throughout Latin American and in most European countries, with an estimated audience of 100 million viewers. Other significant highlights for 2006 include his appearances on the highly-rated shows “No Manches”, “Así es …con Gilberto Gless”, Mexico’s favorite reality TV show “Big Brother”, performed for the “Miss Mexico Beauty Pageant”, “CRISTINA” and “Don Francisco Presenta”.
Bobby again was chosen by People en Espanol Magazine as one of the “50 Mas Bellos” for 2007.
Currently, Bobby is promoting the first single “ENFERMO” from the CD entitled “ENFERMO” which will be released in July of 2007 under SNIPER RECORDS.
“ENFERMO” is confirmation that his style and his music will continue to expand and diversify. He not only remains true to his Latin roots, but shows how his evolution can be a great commodity when it comes to creating new ways to reach people. Not only is it a glorifying achievement for the artists’ illustrious career, but also a sign of more things to come.
