Marcos was born in Phoenix, Arizona and
was raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He grew up singing
in church and turned to popular music when KISS FM's Kid Kraddick
came up with the idea for KISS FM to start a boy's band out
of the DFW area. Marcos was one of the guys chosen to be in
this band called "Sons of Harmony".
The group had some local and regional success but without major
label support the group lasted two years together.
Marcos got the attention of Tommy Quon, manager of Vanilla Ice,
and they started working on recording a CD for Marcos. LA based
Richie Blaze, producer for Diane Warren, produced several songs
with Marcos writing most of the lyrics. Dallas based Jerome Harmon,
producer for Kirk Franklin, produced several songs with Marcos
writing the lyrics as well. Magic of the NB Riderz produced a
track on this CD as well as tracks produced by Russ Lee and Ponti.
There are collaborations with Magic/NB Riderz, Gemini, Mandy
Baby and Stony Deville. The CD is called
"C About Me" and contains 16 songs with the first single "If
You Were Mine" is breaking at radio 1-05.
Hearing and seeing Marcos is like listening and looking at
a combination of Justin Timberlake and Ricky Martin on stage.
