Solely known as Maureen has performed as a soloist at the Hollywood Bowl Mariachi USA Festival in June 2000, 01, 02, 03, 04 and 2005.

Los Angeles County Fair in Sept. 2001, 02, 03, 04 and 2006 Mariachi USA Concert.

Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland Oct. 27, 2001 3rd annual OC Mariachi Festival and 4th annual at the Disney Hotel Sept. 7, 2002.

Mervyn’s 1st Annual Cultural Arts Festival Concurso de Mariachi which she entered as a soloist at the age of seven and won 1st place in her division and also 1st place overall Feb. 3, 2002 where the judges were Heriberto Molina, Nati Cano, Rebeca Gonzales, Laura Sobrino and Nydia Rojas.

Kern County Youth Mariachi Festival where Maureen and Mariachi Oro Angelino won first place in the competition April 21, 2002.

Sponsored by Verizon she received an award and has been the youngest to receive this award at the age of eight along with Larry King, Andy Garcia, Tony Hawk and Keyshawn Johnson at the 9th Annual “Treasures of Los Angeles” April 24, 2003.

Recorded her first CD interpreting songs written for her by the famous singer and song writer King Clave, August, 2003.

A Tribute to Lalo Guerrero at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles CA., Oct. 4, 2003 where she sang one of his compositions “Canción Mexicana”.

Maureen gets her inspiration from the applause and standing ovations the audience gives her, she feels the stage was made for her. Like many children living in the United States she represents México by keeping the culture and traditions of her family’s Mexican past alive through her music.
