Memo Bravo was born in Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero and
from the age of 12 he only had one passion, music. So, he learned
to play various instruments, finally deciding that the accordion
was his instrument of choice.
With his accordion he was able to win the hearts of many from
Colombia and Central America with his interpretation of the cumbiambero
style.
Memo Bravo AKA Memo Bravo y Los Cumbiamberos de
la Costa has had the pleasure to share the
stage with many great legends such as “Tigre Sabanero”,
Aniceto Molina, Joan Sebastián, Grupo Niche, Marito
Rivera, Oro Sólido and many more.
Now in his new artistic phase Memo Bravo has committed to the
next step in his career by signing with G.M. Records of San Antonio
Tx. Memo Bravo has also made one more change. He recently changed
the name of his group to Memo Bravo y Sus Cumbiamberos. His
first production with G. M. Records promises to be a great treat
for all those who love them cumbia and the charanga.
