Sonido Azul is an intense Latin Alternative
Rock Band, with a "bilingual" approach to Rock 'n'
Roll. SA is a five piece band including members John Garza (Vocals),
Joe Ojeda (Keyboards) and Adriel Ramirez (Bass Guitar) formerly
of the Latin Grammy Award-winning group Chris Perez Band (Hollywood
Records). Rounding out the line-up is John Gomez (Drums/Percussion)
and David Galvan (Lead Guitar).
The members of this band have
Individually and Collectively shared the stage with groups (both
English and Spanish) such as MANA, Elton John, Blues Travelers,
YES, Kansas, Saliva, Tesla, Santana, Jaguares, Vince Neil, Fuel,
Kumbia Kings, to name a few...and features on ABC, VH1, MTV etc.
The band has worked relentlessly at writing, recording, and touring
for the past year and will be releasing a CD mid '06.
They are
currently booking warm-up shows prior to a Spring tour, so stay
tuned for more info. Sonido Azul's sole purpose is to create
great music and to deliver this music to their new and old fans.
