RDS Marketing was started in 1999 by Ray D Scarborough. His Marketing and Sales experience started in 1974 with local retail music stores in San Antonio, TX . He held several job descriptions such as, Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager. In 1983 he joined the sales staff of Kaman Music Corporation, one of the largest music distributors in the country. In 1997, he joined the Staff of The Texas Talent Musicians Association, producers of the Annual Tejano Music Awards in San Antonio, TX. There he saw a need for his music related marketing experience to help mostly family operated Tejano Music Artists. He assisted several Artists with Music endorsements such as, Emilio Navaria with Ovation Guitars, Shelly Lares with Toca Percussion, Ovation, Trace Eliott, Vater Drum Sticks. Also, Tim Villerreal and Sunny Sauceda of Grupo Vida with Promark Drum Sticks and Hohner Accordions. Ray has worked with several Artists, advising them of Marketing strategies and helping to advance their careers.
