BANDANGO... a musical group consisting of 9 musicians and 3 crew
members was originally established in San Antonio, in 1977 by
its founder, leader and vocalist RICK VASQUEZ. Through the years,
BANDANGO has provided Texas and other regions with their style
of music. Although known for the Tejano Orchestra sound, they
also provide a variety of music consisting of Top 40 English,
Country, Conjunto, Salza, The Big Band Sound and a unique blend
of Oldies. BANDANGO is widely known as San Antonio's Original
Party Band because of its variety of music selection and the
band's mighty brass section which consist of a Trombone, Saxophone
and Trumpet and its classy five piece rhythm section which consists
of a guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, accordion and background
vocals. The band pumps out the hits through a professionally
engineered sound system and performs underneath an array of colorful
lights.
BANDANGO has recorded the albums "RAMITO DE VIOLETAS","BANDANGO
VOLUME II" and ""VERDADERO AMOR". These albums
have provided top 10 hits for the group beginning with "UN
RINCONCITO EN EL CIELO", "AY CARAMBA", "LA
VIBORA" and "VERDADERO AMOR".
Additional recordings are, "CELEBRANDO CON BANDANGO" and "ALAS
DEL VIENTO" which provided hits "APENAS TE CONOSCO" and "SOLO
SUENO CONTIGO and BANDANGO 2004.
