FUEGO  is one of the best latin fusion band of Salsa, Merengue, Pop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Bachata, and International. A unique mix of talented musicians who create and perform at the highest level of each genre. FUEGO has performed in many different events from weddings, Corporate Events, Night Clubs and festivals in San Antonio, Rockport, Victoria, Austin and the 2008 Fiesta Festival in Birmingham Alabama sharing the stage with Sonora Carruseles (Salsa Band from Colombia) and the 2007 Latin Grammy Award Winner Michael Salgado.

Members included: IVAN PACHECO (Lead singer/Owner). ERIC GUTIERREZ (vocals, keyboards and programming), MIKE BAEZ (Drums and percussion) REGGIE TROCHE (Congas) and JAIME RIVERA (Bongos and minor percussion).

Los Gavilanes de la Cumbia es una familia de musicos organizados por el Sr. Claudio Guzman. El lleva mas de 20 anos en su carrera de ser musico y ahora a lado de su familia entregan en el escenario toda la energia y el sabor unico de la Cumbia Colombiana.

En el ano 2004 se lanzo el primer material de Los Gavilanes de la Cumbia, CD titulado “Llegaron Los Gavilanes” que se escucho en la radio y en clubs por toda la nacion. Ahora en el 2007 se lanza lo mas nuevo de Los Gavilanes de la Cumbia, CD titulado “A Bailar…El Ritmo de Gavilanes”. Este es un disco con mucho ritmo y energia, ademas contiene el gran exito y sencillo “La Pollera Colora” con la participacion de un grande de la cumbia “La Pura Sabrosura” Fito Olivares.

Los Gavilanes de la Cumbia an tenido el privilegio de compartir los esenarios con grandes musicos como “El Tigere Sabanero” Aniceto Molina, “El Rebelde del Accordion” Celso Pina, Chicos de Barrio, La Sonora Carrusel, El Binomio de Oro, Los Inquietos del Vallenato, Ramon Ayala y muchos mas. Biography

VILMA DIAZ “CUMBIA DIVA”

Is a very talented singer internationally recognized for her mastery of tropical style. She was born in Medellin-Colombia, a city that prepared her to be one of the main vocalists of the most famous tropical bands. At the age of 20 a well known record label company discovered her talent and she was offered a recording contract. The quality and power of her voice permitted her to be the lead voice of “La Sonora Dinamita” which is a favorite worldwide tropical band.

In 1989 and already being part of “La Sonora Dinamita” had numerous hits such as “Ya Para Que”, “EL Desamor”, etc. In 1993 she recorded “ESCANDALO”, and as a result of the success of this tropical classic hit, Vilma became recognized as “CUMBIA DIVA”. In 2008 Vilma Diaz released the single “Mirada Latina” which is now played in most popular tropical music worldwide radio stations.

Vilma has performed for the King of Spain, The President of El Salvador (Alfredo Cristiani) during the signing of an historical Peace Treaty, and she has received the keys and has been named honorary citizen of several cities.

Vilma has been called to appear on the line up of very many high profile Latin music shows like “Despierta America”, “Sabado Gigante”, “Jerry Lewis Show”, “Cotorreando”, “La Movida”, “Siempre En Domingo”, “El Show de Johnny Canales”. “12 Corazones”, “Adelante Hispanos”, “El Show de Cristina”, as well as live performances in “Fiesta Broadway”(Los Angeles), “Festival De La Calle 8″(Miami), “Viva Chicago Festival”, Macro Plaza”(Monterey-Mexico), “Madison Square Garden” NYC, “Calgary Festival” (Canada), “Sunset Junction Festival” and top of the major Central and South America, and Europe Concerts and Festivals. Her life and hit songs have been covered in all top publications, TV an radio stations.

Vilma continues singing with her implacable voice and she maintains some of the original Colombian musicians that also played and recorded in 90’s with “La Sonora Dinamita”.

Walter Suhr and Mango Punch!

Winner of  Best Latin Pop band in the Houston Press Music Awards three years in a row (2005, 2006 and now 2007), Mango Punch! lives up to that distinction.  The band was formed by Walter Suhr, an award-winning songwriter, with the purpose of  integrating diverse cultures and age-groups through music.

Mango Punch! has performed in prominent concerts and events, like the world-renowned Super Bowl XXXVIII, along with Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Aerosmith and Beyoncé.

As a songwriter, Walter Suhr has won a number of awards including: 2006 Carnavalero de Oro in Tenerife, Spain; 2005 John Lennon Songwriting Contest and 2005 Festival de las Islas Canarias; First place latin category 9th annual Billboard Song Contest.

Mango Punch!  has performed in Texas, Illinois, Lousiana, and Michigan for many years captivating a multicultural audience with versatility and talent. Their concerts in Mexico, including Guadalajara’s Fiestas de Octubre, have been done to capacity crowds.

Mango Punch! has shared the stage with a number of international artists including: Elvis Crespo, Kumbia Kings, Son by Four, Alvaro Torres and others.  Mango Punch! was also chosen to perform at an intimate private gathering for latin superstar Luis Miguel.

Their TV performances include shows on all major Networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Telemundo, Univisión, Galavisión and Televisa. The video of their song “Qué me pongo” was made famous internationally through heavy rotation on HTV, MTVs and VH Uno.

Walter Suhr’s  songs have also been featured in albums by other artists including Martita Roca and Málin. Most recently his song ‘Nothing, nothing’, was chosen as the theme song for the movie ‘Love for Rent’. His work creating Spanish versions of English songs is highly valued. He has collaborated with Karen Taylor-Good, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, in the Spanish version of her book On Angel’s Wings. He’s written commercial jingles for radio ads and political campaigns including the national Christmas campaign for Wal-Mart “Navidad en Familia” for which he won an ADDY award.

Desayuno de amor, contains the song “Que se lleve el viento mi dolor” which won Finalist in the “2005 John Lennon Songwriting Contest” and Honorary Mention in the “2005 Festival Internacional de las Islas Canarias” and “Nothing, nothing” from the movie “Love for Rent”.
