Collectively, Orquesta FIESTA has over 20 years of experience in the music business; beginning from the day these recording artists started working together in New York City. As performers, this talented group began performing throughout the NY metropolitan area, including NJ, CT and PA. They established themselves as one of the best local bands the city had to offer, working corporate events, the nightclub scene and the college circuit.
Now in Florida, these singers have performed at some of the most prestigious venues, hotels & resorts, nightclubs, concerts and festivals in Florida, including The Ritz Carlton Hotel & Resort (Orlando), The Portofino Hotel & Resort (Universal Studios, Orlando), The Windham Hotel & Resort (Orlando), The Parrot Jungle (Miami) and the 2009 Florida State Fair (Tampa).
The backbone of this Salsa orchestra is their bandleader, lead singer and composer, Jorge Laureano, who has been involved in all aspects of this industry for over 20 years. His vision of having a bi-lingual, Latin music concept also included having a female vocalist who could hold her own. He discovered talented Lee Malavet twelve years ago while she performed with another band and the two have been working together on stage ever since!
These recording artists have been the featured attraction for several concerts and festivals in Florida such as the Orlando Salsa Congress, the Salsafest in Tampa, the FishHawk Ranch Summer Concert Series and the Florida State Fair. On television, FIESTA orchestra was the featured musical attraction performing live on a popular Miami show called… (“El Show de Fernando Hidalgo”),
